Gov. Inslee extends WA school closure through end of school year

On April 6, Gov. Jay Inslee said Washington state schools will be prohibited from providing traditional, in-person instruction for the remainder of the 2019-20 school year.

This announcement extends the previous order on March 13, 2020, which closed all K-12 public and private schools and included activity restrictions for all statewide public and private universities, colleges, community colleges and technical schools, private career schools and apprenticeship training programs.
