Pierce County small business loans

The Pierce County Council approved an ordinance March 24 for small businesses to receive zero-interest, 12-month loans to offer relief to owners during the coronavirus outbreak.

Small business owners can receive $2,000 per employee up to $10,000. Owners must meet the following conditions:

  • Must have 10 or fewer employees
  • Must demonstrate at least a 25 percent reduction in revenues due to the coronavirus pandemic
  • Must be located in unincorporated Pierce County

Businesses may apply for these loans through the Pierce County Economic Development Department.
