Reminder: Check your restaurant operations to ensure compliance

< All Topics

The Seattle Restaurant Alliance team received an update from Public Health — Seattle & King County regarding Phase 2 compliance by restaurants. The agency representative reported its team has completed spot checks and provided educational material to restaurant operators – especially around specific directives:

• Employee health screenings
• Employee facial coverings
• Employee social distancing
• Sanitation and hygiene practices
• Seating capacity (50% of total)
• No bar seating
• Customer face covering
• Customer social distancing
• Customer contact tracing system

Restaurants are encouraged to check their operations to ensure compliance with the directives above. We know you are working hard to keep your doors open and your teams and customers safe. Let’s go the extra mile in our efforts and continue to show the public what hospitality is all about. Check out this recorded webinar for a refresher on the state’s requirements.
