Spokane City Council paves easier path to sidewalk cafés and streateries

< All Topics

The Spokane City Council on May 21 voted to approve a plan to help restaurants expand their capacity.

Restaurants and other businesses can set up operations on the sidewalk or in parking areas on the street. The ordinance the city passed waives the public comment periods as well as waiving the fees associated with the permits through the end of September.
