Fully vaccinated weddings, funerals and events: New guidelines

May 19, 2021 | Entertainment Reopening Guide, Hotel COVID-19 Operations Guide, Reopening 2021

On May 13, Washington state issued new guidelines for weddings, funerals and events if all the guests are vaccinated.

If the wedding or event meets the guidelines to be a fully vaccinated event, the venue, whether it is inside or outside may operate at full fire-code capacity, with no increased distance between individuals or groups.

A fully vaccinated adult means that it has been at least two weeks since their second shot of the Moderna or the Pfizer vaccines, or at least two weeks since they received their single-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine. Proof of vaccination must be provided on request.

For children ages 2 to 15, or adults with a health condition preventing vaccination, in order to attend the event, they must have tested negative for the coronavirus within 72 hours of admission.

Anyone who presents symptoms of the disease will not be permitted to attend.
