Reopening Guides:

Rules for Card Rooms

Mar 19, 2021 | Entertainment Reopening Guide

Some counties in Washington must move back to Phase 2 in the governor’s Healthy Washington–Roadmap to Recovery plan. Here’s what card room operators need to know for both phases.

Phase 2

  • Indoor card room activities and dining are allowed
  • Indoor, outdoor and open-air occupant seating limitations are limited to 50% capacity

For card rooms in Washington state under Phase 3, here are the guidelines of the governor’s Healthy Washington reopening plan.

Phase 3

  • Phase 3 capacity is 50% occupancy up to 400 people (excluding staff), whichever is fewer, as long as proper physical distancing can be achieved
  • Removed requirement to use disposable glassware/tableware

In Phase 3, you still must comply with all other rules. Find the complete list of rules here.
